El termino Violentología es en referencia a la gran escuela de historiadores y sociólogos colombianos que se llaman los violentologos.  Fueron aurotes del estudio magistral que se llama La Violencia en Colombia,  que estudia La Violencia bi-partidista del sigo pasado.
